She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmett O'Connor and Lillian O'Connor (Balzer); her husband Robert Smith; and her sons, Stephen and David.
She is survived by: her children, Michael of Mankato, Debra Radke (Raydean) of Amboy, Patrick (Linda) of Mapleton and Gregory (Erica) of Mapleton; and her grandchildren, Jared Smith (Stacy), Jennifer Hastings (Ryan), Jason Dickie (Stephanie), Mary Mahowald (Matthew) and Stephanie Holt (Nathan). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
