We are sad to announce that on April 1, 2023, at the age of 81, Russell C. Jerde of Maple Plain, Minnesota, born in Watertown, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Jerde and Elsie Jerde (Dongoski); his brothers, Howard Jerde, Loren "Hot Rod" Jerde, Clifford "Wimpy" Jerde, Curt Jerde and David "Puddy Guts" Jerde; his stepfather Melvin Krause; and his brother-in-law John Donahue.
He is survived by: his wife Barb; his children, Mark Jerde (Robin) of Montrose, Mitchell Jerde (Michelle) of Virginia Beach, VA, Michael Jerde (Rheanna) of Delano and Anne Rothstein (Kevin) of Delano; his grandchildren, Katelyn Todd (Charles), Molly Tomann (Justin), Taylor Jerde, Carter Nelson, Olivia Jerde, Matthew Jerde, Alexis Rothstein and Joshua Rothstein; his great grandchildren, Addison Todd, Charles Todd, Carson Todd and Theodore Tomann; his brothers, Marvin Jerde (Joan), Gilbert Jerde (Judy), Donald "Joe" Jerde (Ellen), James Jerde (Gail) and Norman Jerde (Kathy); and his siblings-in-law, Yvonne Jerde, Pauline Jerde, Debbi Jerde, Jack Holmes (Joan), Nancy Donahue and Darrel Holmes (Shelley). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to Christ Lutheran Church or Ridgeview Hospice.
