She is survived by: her brother Paul Merz; her niece Julie Smaron (Frank); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Anna (Scott), Matthew (Anne), Peter and Natalie; her nephew James Merz (Shelia); her great-nephews, Andrew (Eve) and Beckett Carnahan; and her great-niece Avila Smaron.
