He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Tarbox and Katharine Tarbox (Meier); and his sister Caroline Bates. He is survived by: his wife Krista Elsenpeter Tarbox of Maple Lake; his children, Ned Tarbox (Megan) of Edina, MN and Sarah Ratner (Eric) of Carmel, IN; his grandchildren, Calvin, Ruby Tarbox, Sam, Suzanne and Stella Ratner; his stepchildren, Jim Elsenpeter (Jean), Sarah Goeltz (Adam), Susie Peterson (John), Dan Elsenpeter (Erica), Katie Schmidt, Carmen Rudolph (Matt), Luke Elsenpeter (Liz) and Anne Pribyl (Carl); and his sisters, Ann Birchall (Jim) of Birmingham, AL and Kathy Ruppert (John) of Denver, CO. He is also survived by grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
