She was predeceased by: her former husband Richard Vandergon; her son Richard; her great great grandchild Daisy; her siblings, Hester Smith, Bert Kuiper, Henry Kuiper, Dorothy Schut Doorenbos and Jeannette Kuiper; and her son-in-law Steve Carriveau.
She is survived by: her husband Laverne Anderson of Maple Lake; her children, Dean Vandergon (Marne) of Greeley, CO, Daniel (Peggy) of Maple Lake, Gwen Johnson (Wayne) of Monticello and Brenda Hagel (Doug) of Maple Lake; her daughter-in-law Glenna Vandergon of Maple Lake; her stepdaughter Stacy Schlichter (Jeff) of Minnetonka; her grandchildren, Joy, Matt, Hope, Josh, Breanna, Brett, Erick, Craig, Jessi, Carl, April and Kasie; her great grandchildren, Alexis, Connor, Isabelle, Keagan, Morgan, Jake, Hannah, Cora, Easton, Wyatt, Bridger, Greyson and Kai; her siblings, John Kuiper (Joyce), Willis Kuiper, JoAnn Miersma, Albertha Kuiper, Lori Vellenga and Ann Ensing; and her sisters-in-law, Sadie Kuiper and Elaine Malone. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Silver Creek Community Church (4282 114th St. NW, Silver Creek, MN 55358). A prayer will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials are preferred to Silver Creek Community Church.
