It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marilyn Margaret Wurm of Maple Lake, Minnesota, who passed away on December 7, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Paumen and Alma Paumen (Uecker); her husband Roger J. Wurm; her siblings, Duane Paumen and Patricia Mavencamp; and her niece Theresa Paumen.
She is survived by: her children, Roger (Charlene) of Margaret, OSB, Marion (Jeanne Stratton), Monica Scheiber (Ross Berglove), Marsha Ergen (Robert) and Rodney; her grandchildren, Josh Wurm (Staci), Mandy Wurm (Ryan McIntosh), Jessica Zacharias (Michael), Kayla Elsenpeter (Jake) and Kevin Scheiber (Melissa); her stepgrandchildren, Josh, Jamie, Ryan, Tyler and Hailey; her great grandchildren, Wyatt, Kash Wurm, Lucas, Lauren, Logan Elsenpeter, Hunter, Emmy, Whitney Scheiber, Emelia and Olivia Zacharias; her siblings, Dennis Paumen (Mary), William Paumen (Phyllis), Joni Whittaker (Jeff) and Fred Paumen (Virginia); and her siblings-in-law, Marilyn Hochstedler, Marlene Mavencamp, Carol Purcell, Joyce Wurm, Lester Wurm (Jeannine) and Mark Wurm (Jackie). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel (108 Oak Ave N, Maple Lake, MN 55358). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Timothy Catholic Church (8 Oak Ave N, Maple Lake, MN 55358). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the St. Charles Catholic Cemetery (2975 County Rd 8 NW, Maple Lake, MN 55358).
Memorials are preferred to St. Timothy Cemeteries in Maple Lake and St. Benedict Monastery in St. Joseph.
