It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Earl McCarty of Maple Lake, Minnesota, born in Marion, Kansas, who passed away on January 3, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gene McCarty and Vera McCarty (Keazer); his son Michael; and his siblings, Peggy Hett, Dorothy Stubby, Patricia Adams and Donald McCarty.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Chilson of Maple Lake; his daughters, Michelle McCarty of Minneapolis and Monica Carlson (Rick) of Maple Lake; his daughter-in-law Leslie McCarty of Annandale; his grandchildren, Coley Hill (Shane), Kezia Etem (Jeremy), Anjeanine Carlson (Andy Puffer), Nicole Carlson, Amorae Larson (Philip Gekeler), Kayonna Carlson (Michael Erlitz) and Jaxon McCarty; and his great grandchildren, Jayda, Caleb, Ryder, Adrionna, Annika and Margo. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
