It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judy Esther Peterson of Maple Lake, Minnesota, who passed away on September 15, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Elfmann and Erna Elfmann (Goerke); and her godparents, Esther Marohn, Lydia Beckmann and Edwin Elfmann.
She is survived by: her husband Ron Peterson; her children, Sean Peterson (Kristi), Jason Peterson (Shelly Zahn) and Tracy Carlson (James); her grandchildren, Owen Zahn, Caden Peterson, Noah Peterson, Claire Zahn, Griffin Peterson, Gavin Carlson and Tess Carlson; her daughter Susan Peterson; her siblings, Sharon "Sherry" Olean (Donald) and Michael Elfmann; and her sister-in-law Carol Hudek (Frank). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society.
