He was predeceased by: his parents, Mose Lemieux and Edna Lemieux (Bakeberg); his sons, Michael and Lester Lemieux; his siblings, Marjorie Ottenstroer, Charlotte Lemieux, Beatrice Opat, Gordon, Basil and Steven Lemieux; and his stepchildren, David Driggers and Paula Bergquist.

He is survived by: his wife Mavis; his children, Les Lemieux (Sharon) and Katie Wittern; his stepdaughter Jonae Zander (Harlan); his son-in-law Ben Bergquist; and his grandchildren, Heather, Jason, Jamie Hagel, Jesse (Jessica), Shawn (Cassandra), Amber (Joe), Ryan Lemieux (Krystle), Corey (Ellie), Brett Wimmer, Ashley Schwindel (Andy) and Amanda Bergquist (Adam Loch). He is also survived by 18 great grandchildren; also many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
