He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Preuss and Anges Burmeister; his stepfather William Burmeister; his wife Genevieve Preuss; and his brothers, Harold, Bernell, Marvin Preuss and Bob Burmeister.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Tracy Beise, Troy Beise, Trista Beise Conzet, Miranda Kuschel, Chad Kuschel, Janelle Kolle, Jaime Fobbe and Craig Fobbe; his great grandchildren, Taylor Hettwer, Kyler Hettwer, Ellalena Meissner, Avalyn Meissner, Mckenna, Candence, Emery Maus, Kane, Kalli, Cambry Fobbe, Orin Kolle, Collin Kolle and Samantha Conzet; his siblings, LaVerda Rathai of Mankato, Duane Burmeister of The Villages, FL and Bill Burmeister of Bullhead City, AZ; and his siblings-in-law, Aileen Austrup of Jamestown, ND and Al Kuemper of Huntsville, AL..
