He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Houser and Gladys Houser (Krambeal); his parents-in-law, Robert and Frances Huikko; his daughter Rebecca Schoenbauer; his great grandchild Logan Kempenich; his nephews, Tony Huikko and Scott Capko; and his brothers-in-law, Conrad Hausladen, Steve Cardinal and Dean Baker.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Huikko; his children, Dawn Carlson (Dan) of Faribault, Edward Houser (Karen Kerr) of Waseca and Melissa Houser of Montgomery; his son-in-law Dale Schoenbauer of Gwinn, MI; his grandchildren, Christopher, Curtis, Carolyn Kempenich, Ashley Houser, Cassandra, Brandy, Samantha Schoenbauer, Aaron Stolp, Colton Nelson and Jeffrey Houser; his siblings, Dean Houser of Watertown, Susan Hausladen of Lester Prairie, Linda Schwerin (Dale) of Delano and Candy Cardinal of Hugo; and his uncle Larry Krambeal of Paynesville. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
