He was predeceased by: his parents, Aden Rud and Leola Rud; his brothers, Donnie, Dale and Gary; his brother-in-law Bill; and the mother of his children Paula.
He is survived by: his wife Martha; his children, Alexis Olson (James), Alysia Borowski (Sam), Dallen Rud (Sam) and Elly Vrieze Olson; his grandchildren, Tate, Trent, Mavrik, Lane, Adalyn and Ivy; and his siblings, Sue Jahraus, Tom Rud (Vicki), Charlie Rud (Sue) and David Rud (Lynn). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM. A memorial service was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Christ Lutheran Church (201 Frontage Rd NW, Byron, MN 55920). A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Troy & Amy Jahraus' Home (5711 80th Ave SW, Byron, MN 55920).
