She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas H. Jones and Effie G. Jones; her husband Harold O. Strand; and her children, Lori and Roger.
She is survived by: her brothers, Floyd, Cliff, Arvid and Rush Lake Community; her family, Roger, Karleen Ulman (Joe), Gail Caven (Dave) and Lori; her daughter Gail; her son-in-law Dave Caven; her grandchildren, Matt Ulman (Juliet), Monica Thelen (Tim), Kim Ernst, Nathan Drengler (Erica), Tonia Johnson (Hathaway), Rachel Lambert (Brian), Kelly Seeger (Jeff) and Jayme Johnson (Ted); her great grandchildren, Lydia, Sylvia, Elise, Tyler, Hailey, Luke, Caleb, Beau, Dylan, Teddy, Jaylea, Blayne, Jordan, Khadija, Charles, Mykiah, Taniyah and Grace; and her great great grandchild Ka'Monie.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calvary Lutheran Church (19216 Rapidan Ave, Mankato, MN 56001). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. Vivian was safely in Texas with her daughter Gail, and son-in-law, Dave Caven for the early covid years.
To honor Vivian's life, memorials may be given to Calvary Lutheran Church, Rapidan, Wounded Warrior Project, the Down Syndrome Association of Minnesota, or Pathstone Living.
