With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia Marie Gimmer of Mankato, Minnesota, who passed away on February 7, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Hoffman and Celestine Hoffman (Thissen); her husband Kenneth Gimmer Sr.; her children, Susan Marx and Kevin Gimmer; her grandson Gary Valliant; and her siblings, Flora Slater and Leo Henry "Sonny" Hoffman.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Hummer (Ron) of Mapleton, Kenneth Gimmer Jr. (Dezata) and Brian (Linda Fischenich) of North Mankato; and her son-in-law Gregg Marx of Madison Lake. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren.
