She was predeceased by: her parents, Glen Bird and Gunda Bird (Haukom); and her brothers, Ronnie and Richard "Dick" Bird. She is survived by: her husband James R. Carlsen; her sons, Michael, Douglas, Jim (Eyvonne Carlsen), Mike (Lisa Carlsen) and Doug (Karen Carlsen); and her siblings, Frances Bird of Bullhead City, AZ and Mike Fangel of Champlain, MN. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
