It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vera A. (Rogers) Holzapfel of Mankato, Minnesota, who passed away on August 14, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivan J. and Olive E. Rogers (Chamberlain); her husband Donald W. Holzapfel; her son Michael; her daughter-in-law Renee; and her brother-in-law Lee Owens.
She is survived by: her daughters, Vickie Conlon of Mankato and Sharon Dieken (Dennis) of Mankato; her grandchildren, Jenny Conlon, Mike Conlon, Beth Adams (Eric), April Hopkins (Brian) and Alyssa Dieken; her great grandchild Henry Hopkins; her siblings, Duane Rogers (Charlotte) of Lake Crystal, Audrey Degler (Gus) of Eagan and Helen Owens of Lake Crystal; her sister-in-law Janice Holzapfel of Mesa, AZ; and her friends, Jeneane Quame, Jane Tolzmann, Julie and Dan Sonnek. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorials may be given to St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church or Mayo Hospice – Mankato.
