It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tracy Schmidt (Mankato, Minnesota), born in Mason City, Iowa, who passed away on February 12, 2019, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carrol Dean and Wanda Marie Schmidt (Reynolds); and her brothers, David Schmidt, Dean Schmidt and Donny Schmidt.
She is survived by: her wife Joan Nikolay of Mankato; and her sisters, Theresa Corell (Ron) of Manly, IA, Carrie Schmidt (Jenny) of Charles City, IA and Cristy Schmidt Cooper of Manly, IA. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to be directed to Forward4Tobi in memory of Tracy or toward a school memorial to be designated later.
