He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond and Madeline Black Sr. (Youell); his brothers, Ray Jr. and Francis "Willy"; his brothers-in-law, Chuck Ragan and Clayt Lukken; and his niece Angel Black.
He is survived by: his siblings, Tim Black (Denise Anderson) of Mankato, Lynn Ragan of Mankato, Mary Lukken of Kelso, WA, Judy Black (Jerry Phillips) of St. Clair, Sue Suess (Ron) of Judson, Barb Wersal (Greg) of Eagle Lake, Peggy Black (Curt Torgerson) of Mankato, Debbie Olson (John) of Mankato, Tammy DeWitte (Brian) of Mankato and Kim Black (Rob Schwarz) of Mankato. He is also survived by many nieces, and nephews.
