It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steven John Proehl of Mankato, Minnesota, who passed away on December 27, 2020, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Proehl and Iona Proehl; and his sister Marcia Pinnow. He is survived by: his wife Cleone; his children, David Proehl (Heather) and Michelle Vitus (Allan); his stepchildren, Darrick Bogenrief (Angela), Cassie Bogenrief and Jarod Bogenrief (Jessie); his siblings, Sandra Proehl, Doug Proehl (Carolyn), Barb Proehl (Bob) and Lois Proehl (Glen); and his brother-in-law Curt Pinnow. He is also survived by six grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials be given in honor of Steve to MN Adult and Teen Challenge.
