Stan Defries Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stan Defries of Mankato, Minnesota, born in Windom, Minnesota, who passed away on February 27, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Defries and Dorothy Defries (Smith) of Windom; and his siblings-in-law, Dunc Grimm, Rodney Miller and Joyce Lindquist.
He is survived by: his wife Bev Defries; his children, Bruce Defries (Becky) and Brenda Christenson (Mark); his sisters, Barb Miller and Janelle Grimm; his grandchildren, Travis Defries (Calla), Heather Defries (Conner Meyer), Kayleigh Christenson, Alexa Christenson and Erin Christenson; and his great grandchildren, Kendrah Lamont, Kaylyn Defries, Jaxson Defries, Evie Hecker and Vivian Defries. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Post 518 American Legion, or donor's choice.
