It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sonja Marie Olmanson of Mankato, Minnesota, born in Elma, Iowa, who passed away on December 11, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl Johnson and Anna Johnson (Sanderson); her husband Keith Olmanson; and her siblings, Alna, Dagny, Wanda Hansen, Dean and Charles.
She is survived by: her children, Karl (Liz) of Kasota, Dan (Rachel) of Cleveland, Andrew (Shireen) of St. Peter, Marie Muehlenhaupt (Dale) of Markesan, WI, Paula Naumann (Bruce) of Eau Claire, WI, Amy Sippert (Steve) of Eau Claire, WI, John (Sarah) of West St and Rachel Hansen (Loren) of Rapidan; her brothers, Walter (Kady) of Akron, OH, Marland (Jeananne) of Laurel, MT and Donald (Claire) of Phoenix, AZ; and her brother-in-law Ronald Hansen. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
