He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Gens and Cornelia Gens (Jaeger); his son Tim; his son-in-law Dan; and his grandchildren, Baby Gens, Christopher, Dustin, Aliza Jane and Kristine.
He is survived by: his brother Marlin (June) of Pequot Lakes, MN.. He is also survived by his children, 16 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Woodland Hills Funeral Home (1605 Woodland Ave, Mankato, MN 56001).
