He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Gauthier and Mildred Gauthier (Saenger); his stepfather Howard Wilder; his son Jay Gauthier; his nephew Matt Louris; and his brother-in-law Jim Louris.
He is survived by: his former wife Elisabeth Rader; his daughters, Pauline Neva (Keith), Michelle Wiegand (Sam) and Kristina Berg (Matt); his siblings, Richard Gauthier (Pat), Gloria Louris, Jim Gauthier (Susan), Pam Peterson (Keith) and John Gauthier; his grandchildren, Sam Neva (Sara), Joseph Neva, Danica, Ava, Levi Wiegand, Jordyn, Ryan and Noah Berg; and his great grandchild Anders Neva.
