He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Almjeld and Edna Almjeld (Sand); his wife Karen Weidauer; his parents-in-law, Donald and Elizabeth Weidauer; his brother Bobbie Almjeld; and his brother-in-law Dennis Amundson.

He is survived by: his uncle Clarence; his daughters, Juanita Parker (Larry) and Bernice Robinson (Rick); his grandchildren, Christa Harberts (Jason Trevor), Andrea Kuipers (Dustin), Kelsey Teets (Ben), Nickolaus Harberts (Ashley Kass) and Dillon Robinson (Jodi); his great grandchildren, Joslyn, Jada, Janessa, Jordyn Kuipers, Grant, Blake Robinson and Easton Teets; his son-in-law Brad Harberts; and his sisters, Donna Amundson, Norma Renken (Terry) and Carol Skaug (Dallas). He is also survived by his children, grandchildren and many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to First Lutheran Church in Worthington.
