He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Saman and Olene Saman (Swanson); and his brother John Arthur. He is survived by: his wife Dee; his daughters, Sue Saman of Montrose and Sara Carlson (Mike) of Shakopee, Minnesota; his grandchildren, Zac (JoAnne), Derek, Ashley (Jake) and Garrett; and his great grandchildren, Lyric and Skyler.
Roger was a strong supporter of the America Red Cross through blood donation. Memorials are preferred to the American Red Cross or donor's choice.
