He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hermanson and Adeline Hermanson (Wilder); his siblings, Duane Hermanson of Blue Earth, Jean Kruse (Ronald) of St. Clair, Robert Betchwars (Kim) of Ozark, MO and Carl; his sister-in-law Donna Kiewatt (Jones); and his brothers, James, Earl and Marvin.
He is survived by: his son Kevin (Geri) of Kasota; his wife Jane Kiewatt; his children, Steve (Linda) of Eagan and Kathy Whitehead (Lon) of Mankato; his grandchildren, Joshua, Elizabeth Hermanson and Samuel Whitehead (Aleesa); and his sister Jacqueline Halla of Mankato. He is also survived by Many nieces/nephews and other extended family.
He was also suffering with Parkinson's Disease.
