We are sad to announce that on October 9, 2019, at the age of 87, Robert Martens (Mankato, Minnesota), born in New Ulm, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Martens and Christine Martens (Ulrich); his wife Carol M. Halverson; his brothers, Harvey and Leroy; and his siblings-in-law, Dodie, Darlene, Dorothy and Tom Davis.
He is survived by: his sons, Robert (Rob), Dave (Cindy), Dan (Sue) and John of Spicer, MN.; his grandchildren, Steve (Holly), Sara (Garrett), Katelyn (April), Joel, Ben, Jakson, Noah and Eli; his great grandchildren, Wesley, Max, Ava, Zoey and Felix; his siblings, Carl (Dorothy), Henry, Jr., Marlys Renner (Ron), Jan Hundeby (Ted) and Anita Davis; and his sister-in-law Abi.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Minnesota Veterinary Foundation or Hosanna Campus Ministry Fund, Hosanna Lutheran Church, Mankato, MN.
