He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Heinze and Ruth Heinze; his sister Janet Barry; and his sister-in-law Marian Heinze. He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his children, Nathan (Caitlin) of Roseville, CA and Rachel of Madison, WI; his brother Dennis Heinze (Julie); his brother-in-law Lee Barry; and his parents-in-law, Roland of Mankato and Zada Utzinger of Mankato. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He returned to farm with his father, Donald Heinze, and continued farming until the onset of Parkinson's.
