He is survived by: his daughter Jessica Abernathy; his grandchildren, Kaiden Abernathy, Braelyn Abernathy and Greyson Abernathy (Mankato); his siblings, Jackie Hoppe of Maud, TX, Joel Abernathy and Rodney Honetschlager of Mankato; his niece Kelly Proctor; his nephews, David Hoppe of Mankato, Michael Abernathy of Utah and Peter Honetschlager of South Dakota; and his friends, Sherry Ford of Mankato and Mark Hoppe of Mankato. He is also survived by aunts uncles, and cousins.
