He was predeceased by: his mother Mabel Smith (Nassiff); his wife Sharon; his son Ronald; his siblings, Sharon Hill, Barbara Rachuey, Jan Evans, Marvin "Butch", Robert and Tom; and his pets, Dutchess and Mich.
He is survived by: his sons, Richard Jr. (Sherri) of Mankato and Jesse (Teresa) of Mankato; his grandchildren, Blaze, Steven, Ricky, Macey and Layla; his great grandchildren, Jaxon and Sofia; and his pet Lilly. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
