She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Anderson and Betsy Anderson; her husband Justin C. Petersen; and her siblings, Beatrice and Benjamin.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rebecca (Gregory Loll) and Judith (William Anderson); her granddaughters, Kaitlin, Courtney Loll and Helen Anderson; her brother Donald J. Anderson; and her sisters-in-law, Esther Faugstad, Shirley Petersen and Lois Petersen. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She cared for her sister Kathryn for 11 years following their mother's death and for her beloved Justin when he was stricken with Alzheimer's disease until his death in 2000.
