It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nila Haefner of Mankato, Minnesota, who passed away on September 23, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Nila Haefner to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Stefanski and Edna Stefanski (Schroeder); her husband Clair Haefner; her sister JoAnne Stefanska; and her daughter-in-law Deirdre Haefner.
She is survived by: her children, Kim Rotchadl (Dan), Scott Haefner (Theresa), Bruce Haefner, Richard Haefner (Suzanne Spellacy) and Jennifer Karlen; her grandchildren, Tony (Briana), Robert (Lina), Andrew (Chelsea), Max, Kristy (Craig), Emily (Alex), Eric, Alicia (Matt), Alex (Tara), Danielle, Bryan, Terry, Peter, Deirdre, Eva, Luke, Ella, Noah, Alec, Olivia and Katherine; her siblings, RoseMary Lingle and Warren Stefanski (Barbara); and her parents-in-law, George Haefner (Anne), Phyllis Haefner, Audrey Mettler (Dewey), Jean Haefner and Donna Haefner. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
The family prefers memorials be given to Loyola Catholic School or St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.
