She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Barsness and Hilda Barsness (Braaten); her husband William "Bill" Masica; her daughter Mary Beth; and her siblings, Marvel Barsness (Jeannie), Norris Barsness (Maleta), Raymond Barsness, Grace Gandrud (Rudy) and Mavis.
She is survived by: her children, Beverly Frodermann (Larry) of Heron Lake, Vicky Sagehorn of Fairmont, Michael Masica (Sheila) of Reedsburg, WI and Lori Lauseng of Northfield; her grandchildren, Nicholas Frodermann, Jeffrey Frodermann (Suzie), Brian Frodermann (Betsy), Hilary Masica, Alex Masica, Tori Lauseng and Trevor Lauseng; and her stepgranddaughter Amy Lago (Doug). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
She was a longtime member of the American Legion Post #518 Ladies Auxiliary of North Mankato where she was the poppy chairwoman and spent countless hours with a smile, offering poppies and taking donations for the Auxiliary.
