With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Myrna Gieser Braun of Mankato, Minnesota, born in Fairmont, Minnesota, who passed away on May 25, 2021 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Dunker and Marie Dunker (Harries); her daughter Lisa Nelsen; her stepson Mark Braun; and her siblings, Kent Dunker, Gayle Dunker, Lorray and Lauralee Dunker.
She is survived by: her former husband Gerald Gieser; her husband Lynn Braun of Mankato; her son James Gieser (Michelle) of Baltimore, MD; her stepdaughters, Candi Scott (Mike) of Elysian, Cari Prado (Vic) of Denver and Roberta Carmody (Tom) of Denver, CO; her grandchildren, Jacob Gieser, Jessica Gieser, Daniel Gieser, Christopher Oachs, Jaxen Gieser, Anderson Gieser and Bennett Gieser; her great grandchildren, Mason Gieser and Aubrey Mulligan; her siblings, Gayleen Woizeschke (Ed) of Windom, Don Dunker of Windom and Gary Dunker (Florence) of Mountain Lake; and her sister-in-law Linda Dunker of Windom. She is also survived by five step-grandchildren; one step great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
