He was predeceased by: his father George John; and his girlfriend Melissa "Missy" Palmquist. He is survived by: his mother Jean Marion Bauer (Simonett) of Mankato; his former wife Teresa Daufenbach; his children, Joleen, Melinda and Katie Rux (Jake); his grandchildren, Kayden, Kashton, Elsie of Mapleton and Joleen Buesing (Diedrich); his great grandchildren, August, Janee of North Mankato and Melinda Bauer; his son Matthew Bauer (Maribel) of Minot, ND; his siblings, Tom Bauer (Carla) of Mankato, Marlene Houg (Byron) of Mankato and Rose Hanson (Joe Lyons) of North Mankato; and also, Logan and Nolan of Mankato. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
