It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Gene Burhop of Mankato, Minnesota, born in Faribault, Minnesota, who passed away on February 24, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ercell Burhop and Daisy Burhop (James). He is survived by: his wife Diane Bahr of Mankato; his son Nathan Danberry of Mankato; and his siblings, Everett Chester, Robert Burhop (Nancy), James Burhop, Merry Stanke, Lois Caron (Kim), Evon Claybaugh and Laurie Johansen (Duane). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
