He is survived by: his children, Arlene and Mel; his wife Arlene; his children, Kevin Carlson (Eva) of Wilmington, NC, Sandy Wohlfeil (Mike) of Fargo, ND, Sheri Kalb (Bill) of Edina, MN, Dan Carlson (Kim) of Woodbury, MN and Julie Carlson of Emily, MN; his brother Wesley Carlson of Stanton, CA.; and his siblings-in-law, James Vaske and Karen Janssen. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
