He was predeceased by: his parents, James Herme and Besse Herme (Thorsheim). He is survived by: his wife Ellen Langford of Mankato; his children, James Herme (Donna) of Oxnard, CA, Nathan (Christina) of Farmington, MN and Anne Saunders of Mankato; and his sister Daonna Mae Eddie of Marshalltown, IA. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.
