He was predeceased by: his parents, William Krueger and Ida Krueger (Hahn); his wife Betty Scott; his close friend Ricki Curtis; and his son Douglas.

He is survived by: his children, David Krueger (Beverly) and Debra Anderson; and his grandchildren, Matthew, Joshua, Kimberly, Jason, Scott and Kevin. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Immanuel Lutheran Church in Mankato.
