It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maximilian Cengiz Orient (Mankato, Minnesota), who passed away on January 11, 2025, at the age of 23, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Maximilian Cengiz had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Maximilian Cengiz may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his mother Deniz Sevim Arik. He is survived by: his father Robert Orient of Mankato; his siblings, River Arik of Phoenix, AZ and Sofia Orient of Mankato; his grandparents, Steve and Sue Howard of Mankato; and his aunts, Christine "Kitty" Orient (John Devereaux) of Edina, Angela Rice (Zach) of Hanska and Melis Arik of Bayfield, WI. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended relatives.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Northview - North Mankato Mortuary (2060 Commerce Dr, North Mankato, MN 56003).
