She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Christensen and Anna Christensen (Sondergaard); her husband Robert Bensch; her grandson Nicholas Frederick; her son-in-law John Way; her brothers, Don Christensen, Jack Christensen and Wayne; and her siblings-in-law, Mary Christensen and John Gerencser.
She is survived by: her sister Betty Gerencser of Dallas, TX; her children, Jeff Bensch (Ranelle) of Fair Oaks, CA, Jackie Way of Dumfries, VA, Julie Frederick (Tom) of Mankato, MN and Jennifer Bensch of New York, NY; her grandchildren, Jesse Way of Dumfries, VA, James Way (Stepanie) of Roseville, MN, Jace Bensch of Sacramento, CA, Lauren Bensch of San Antonio, TX, Kayla Hicok (Sam) of Castel Rock, CO and Marissa Frederick (Jake Mellema) of Maple Grove, MN; and her great grandchildren, Jonah, Margot, Lucas Way, Frederick and Henry Hicok.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Blue Earth Nicolett County Humane Society (BENCHS).
