He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuben Ryg and Marie Ryg (DeGroot); his wife Joan Rutjes; and his daughter-in-law Linda Ryg. He is survived by: his children, Bruce of Eagle Lake, Bob (Rhonda) of Cleveland and Tami Hurd (Dan) of North Mankato; his grandchildren, Nick Ryg (Faith), Ryan Ryg (Jen), Adam Carpenter, Jessica Ely, Amy Sorensen (Jaymes), Christa Judkins (Alex) and Andy Ryg (Kate); his great grandchildren, Jordan, Hunter, Ryley, Dylan, Colton, Carsyn, Cora, Lydia, Ruby, Avery, Easton, Emily and Elliot; and his sister Mary Ann Brown (Bill) of New Ulm. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
