He is survived by: his wife Judy of Mankato; his children, Darryl Goettl of Eagle Lake, Kate Phillips (Tim) of Mankato, Matthew Metzler of Eagle Lake and Paula Metzler of Mankato; his daughter-in-law Jana Metzler of Mankato; his siblings, Melvin Metzler, Karen Meister (Jerry) of Waseca and Sandy Matz (Gene) of Waseca; his sister-in-law Gloria Linde (Harold) of Mankato; and also Kathy Goettl of Eagle Lake. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
