Maria Winters Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 23, 2021, at the age of 94, Maria Winters of Mankato, Minnesota passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Maria Winters to pay them a last tribute.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Sharon Flatgard (Adrian) of Newport, RI, Kenneth Jr. (Lori) of Worthington, Gregory (Denise) of Windom and Philip (Lucy) of Long Lake; her grandchildren, Eric Winters (Sarah), Allison Posner (Asa) and Ben Flatgard (Leslie); her great grandchildren, Aubrey, Kendrick, Oliver Winters and Von Flatgard; her sister Lyn Johnson of Los Gatos, CA.; her brother-in-law James Winters (Suzanne) of Indianapolis, IN.; her husband Kenneth; and her parents, Lydia Anna and Gustaf Sigfrid Johnson. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and friends.

She became a great fan of Zoom during the pandemic and never missed the weekly calls with her family; she always brought current events into the conversation.
