With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret A. Orness of Mankato, Minnesota, who passed away on January 17, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Glen Elletson and Thelma Elletson (Olson); her aunt Inez Olson; her brother Robert Elletson; and her brothers-in-law, Bill Teague and Dave Roehl.

She is survived by: her husband Jerry; her children, Laurie Lee (Jeffrey), Dave Orness (Laurie) and Kari Edwards (Jeff); her grandchildren, Jonathan Lee, Kiersten Anderson (Cory), Josh Orness (Meghan), Nicole Cheers (Aaron), Luke Orness (Clarissa Stiller) and Rachel Edwards; her great grandchildren, Lucy, Audrey Anderson, Nora, Mason Cheers and Stetson Reuvers; and her sisters, Merle Teague and Mary Roehl. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.

Memorials may be given to Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Mankato or the Alzheimer's Association.
