He is survived by: his former wife Naomi Ebeling; his son Nate; his wife Sheila Cottew of Mankato, Minnesota; his sons, Nathan Cottew (Allison) of Dallas and Jacob Cottew (Renee) of Good Thunder, Minnesota; his granddaughters, Brynleigh and Ella Cottew; and his siblings, Terry Cottew of Brooklyn Center, Dennis Cottew of Buffalo, Mavis Nawrocki (Joe) of Arlington, Vickie Gamble (Rodney) of Pambrun Saskatchewan, Jon Cottew of Jackson, Michell Ratike of Minneapolis and Rick Cottew of Fairmont, Minnesota. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
