He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland C. Kettner and Lanita E. Kettner (Hopp); and his brothers-in-law, Dennis Pederson and Thomas Lindemann. He is survived by: his siblings, Lynnis Kettner (Marvanna) of Winthrop, LeAnn Sweet (Gerry) of Bloomington, Cheryl Pederson of Hector, Larry Kettner (Linda) of Kasota and Jean Lindemann of Spicer; his nephews, Todd Kettner (Paula) and Michael Kettner (Kelly); his niece Kristin Edwardson (Roger); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Zachary, Brianna Kettner, Mitchell, Alison, Andrew Kettner and Riley Edwardson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Our Savior's Lutheran Music Fund or Moments Hospice.
