She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Tacheny and Hyacinthe Tacheny (Thier); her former husband Calvin Carpenter; her children-in-law, Peggi Carpenter and Jim Lacina; her brother Dale Tacheny; her sister-in-law Delores Tacheny; and her stepchildren, Mike Kruse and Cindy Kruse Steffl.
She is survived by: her children, Joan Hochman (Todd), Cindy Guentzel (Daryl), Dale Carpenter, Gary Carpenter (Jeanne), Mary Beth Lacina-Ericson (Bob) and Mike Carpenter (Sandy); her brother Leon Tacheny; her sisters-in-law, Lucille Matson, Lois Kobel and Linda Tacheny; and her stepchildren, Sue Kruse, Tom Kruse (Maureen), Tim Kruse, Kurt Kruse (Leah) and John Kruse (Susan). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren.
