It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Fischer of Mankato, Minnesota, who passed away on December 26, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Luverne "Vernie"; her grandchildren, Andrew Bruss and Grace Roering; her brothers, Eugene and Kenneth Forstner; her sisters-in-law, Evelyn, Donna and Shirley Forstner; and her parents, Frank Forstner and Veronica Forstner (Boettger).
She is survived by: her children, Mary Bruss (Ken) of Mound City, Ann Reckow (Rick) of St. James, Lucy Warren (Dan) of Becker, Emily Roering (Jason) of Mankato, Paul Fischer (Rae) of Redwood Falls, Peter Fischer (Julie) of Stewertville, Joseph Fischer of New Ulm, John Fischer (Rose) of New Ulm and Karl Fischer (Nancy) of Detriot Lakes; her grandchildren, Steven Bruss (Thais), Paul Bruss (Sarah), Austin Bruss (Sarah), Benjamin Reckow (Marissa), Elizabeth Reckow, Veronica Fischer (Joseph Maletta), Callie Fischer, Erin Fischer, Kyle Fischer (Courtney), Garrett Fischer (Annie), Alex Fischer, Jessica Idahor (Kevin), Josh Stifter (Erin), Laura Pappal (Emma), Sarah Warren, Samuel Warren, Lillian Warren, Carlyn Roering, Jack Roering, Julia Roering and Claire Roering; her great grandchildren, Logan, Robinson, Teddy, Annemarie, Emersyn, Oliver, Ivy, Avery, Dakoda and Dayliana; and her siblings, Connie Reinchensperger (Chuck), Myron Forstner and Rollie Forstner (Arlis). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
