It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence Anthony Rathai of Mankato, Minnesota, who passed away on August 16, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Rathai and Mary Rathai (Dusa); and his siblings, Clara Stencel, Bernice Trimbo, Audrey Rathai, Louie, Eugene and Dominic.
He is survived by: his son Gary Rathai (Brenda); his grandchildren, Terra Ranum (Brad) and Anthony Rathai; his great grandchildren, Sawyer and Zola Ranum; his sisters, Marie Stepple and Angeline Schultz (Francis); and his brother-in-law Randy Shaw.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to St. Jude's Hospital, or to the Disabled American Veterans Charity.
